About Our Company

Residential Asbestos Removal, Inc has been incorporated and licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Health since 1985. The company was started and owned by Dale Koelewyn until 2018. In 2018, Thomas Joseph, who was an employee of Dale's for 20+ years in the asbestos abatement industry was honored when Dale approached him regarding purchasing Residential Asbestos Removal, Inc. In 2019, Tom purchased the Company from Dale and his family. Tom is proud of Residential Asbestos Removal, Inc's record of the highest standards of work performance over the years and looks forward to continuing those standards of service for the next 20+ years. 

Our company focus has always been on the efficient abatement of asbestos in your home or business. Using the highest standards and regulations set by the EPA; for homes and commercial businesses; in the removal and encapsulation of asbestos. We are successful in making asbestos abatement safe and inexpensive for homeowners and businesses.

When large abatement companies occasionally took on jobs, their mobilization and job management costs were extensive, and the prices were very high. We feel there is an opportunity for us as a smaller asbestos company to focus on the many jobs in the Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Sandusky, and Summit County market area.
